Dr. Ledesma’s Specialties
Minimally Invasive Neck and Back Surgery
Endoscopic Spine Surgery
Dr. Ledesma is an expert in endoscopic spine surgery, including endoscopic discectomy and endoscopic decompression. Using high-definition visualization and precise instrumentation, he can access the spine through tiny incisions. This minimizes trauma to surrounding tissues and reduces downtime.
Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
Minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) relies on tiny incisions and advanced navigation technology for greater precision. Dr. Ledesma’s approach often means less blood loss, reduced pain after surgery, and a quicker return to normal activity compared to traditional open procedures.
Cervical Disc Replacement
Unlike spinal fusion, which limits motion at the treated level, disc replacement uses an artificial implant to maintain natural movement between the vertebrae. Dr. Ledesma has advanced training in cervical disc replacement, offering patients a motion-preserving alternative that helps them return to active living.
Robotic Spine Surgery
Dr. Ledesma is trained in state-of-the-art robotic-assisted spine surgery. This technology allows him to create a 3D surgical plan tailored to each patient and execute it with unparalleled precision. Thanks to smaller incisions and less muscle disruption, patients often experience a faster, more comfortable recovery.
