Dr. Antigone Argyriou recently served as a faculty presenter for an educational program hosted by Boston Scientific titled “The Evolution of the Intracept Procedure: Exploring the Science Behind Basivertebral Nerve Ablation.”
Joined by Kristen Durkin, NP, of NY Spine and Pain Specialists, Dr. Argyriou shared clinical insights into the evolution of the Intracept Procedure and the growing body of evidence supporting basivertebral nerve ablation as a treatment option for patients suffering from chronic vertebrogenic low back pain.
The program was developed specifically for female healthcare providers and provided an opportunity for attendees to explore the science behind basivertebral nerve ablation, discuss patient selection considerations, and review the continued advancement of minimally invasive treatment options for chronic low back pain.
